Bond Vet - Astoria

I had to bring my Benny into Bond Vet Astoria for GI & skin issues. Benny and I have been to multiple vets, animal hospitals, etc but BOND VET was incredible. From the moment I walked in, my family, Benny and I were greeted with warmth and compassion. We had to do a walk-in, and the team was efficient in finding us a slot time!! Benny’s vet and medical techs, Dr. Zhu, Jen and Luis were the best. They handled my Benny with so much love and I felt secured knowing he was in good hands. Dr. Zhu’s bedside manner was phenomenal and fantastic. I will definitely come back! Thank you all for the kindness, and empathy you’ve given Benny and my family Full disclosure: BENNY is not an aggressive dog but I just call it “vet coat syndrome” where he gets anxious and upset when he comes in. Otherwise he still loved everybody! Thank you all again!

Firstly let me say , Dr. Toulouse and Jeffrey are absolutely amazing to work with . If you come here i recommend them . This place is so easy to get appointments. The luxury of online scheduling and pet portal is nice. My first 2 times here I was extremely happy. The last time I came however I was not so happy. The per diem vet that was here didn’t bother to look at my cats history. I’ve spent thousands of dollars here in one month and i expect a knowledgeable practitioner to take care of my cat. I don’t know if i will be returning here as It’s extremely difficult to reach the direct staff over the phone. You have to go through a phone service system which I absolutely hate. I was given an antibiotic that is the size of a human multi vitamin . This is not feasible for a cat. I them told them i needed a liquid and they said they don’t have it and I have to go to a compounding pharmacy. The fact that a vet office doesn’t have the proper equipment for what they prescribe is beyond me. The prices are very high here as well. The overall vibe here is calming and not cramped like some other offices in the area.

I called because I found a lost cat and needed to check and see if she had a chip and/or fleas. They were completely booked, but said I could come in for a quick examination. The vet met with me for 10 minutes, performed the chip scan and flea check free of charge, and discussed next steps. All staff were extremely thoughtful, respectful, professional, and went out of their way to help (when other places said they could not assist). I have been to the BK clinic once before with a friend's pet and they were just as wonderful.

I recently switched to Bond Vet Astoria because they had an open appointment when my vet did not. I used a promo deal and got a cheap checkup for my dog who was having digestive issues. They did blood work and found that she was heartworm positive. We would not have had her routine blood work done for another 5 months had they not recommended it. We are so grateful to Bond Vet! We dropped her off for her first injection recently and she had to stay all day. We were scared and worried but the staff at Bond Vet was so good to her. They listened to our concerns and worries, helped to assuage them and provided tips and meds to keep her calm during treatment. The treat bar was also a bit hit with our pup! She's not out of the woods yet but our experience with Bond Vet has us feeling confident she'll make a full recovery!

I’ve been to Bond Vet in Astoria for 2 emergency visits. I didn’t have an appointment and was seen immediately each time for both my cats. Each visit was for a different cat. Great care. Top of the line technical support. Amazing front desk receptionist who greets you with a smile and says good bye with the same warm smile. Over the top quality and caring veterinarians. Competitive rates: similar to many other care providers. You can’t go wrong with Bond Vet, whether it’s for general care or for an emergency visit. Their hours of operation makes it a very accessible care provider. I highly recommend their office. Thank you 😊

Dr Toulouse Thank you !!! For making a heartbreaking experience as easy as could be Dr Toulouse and her entire team from the instant we walked in were warm and extremely compassionate and made our and our dogs passing gentle painless and merciful. In addition to the amazing staff the clinic had a bright, welcoming and clean atmosphere Holly who welcomed us and did administration was a gem. The cost was very reasonable compared to every other place we called and they took us immediately when I called with our precious Tiffany in distress. I highly recommend Bond Vet in Astoria.

To begin with, it is the first time that I have come with my kitten to this chain of veterinary clinics, my satisfaction is really 10/10 since we entered, the staff welcomed us with a big smile that made me feel safe and with the peace of mind that I was in the place. correct. The care Mara received from DR. Ruby NG was incredible, the information I received from DR. It made me understand a lot why Mara had so much chronic vomiting. I thank the entire Bond Vet team for their attention and warmth with the pets. I am sure that this will be the clinic for my Mara forever.
